Watching the DW Women special with the fam and I am LOVING it! Every woman that comes on I love for different reasons. But Dad turns around and tells me to stay calm.

And then my brother tells me to “be cool like Martha” (of which I am slightly proud, btw)

And then later, my dad tries to tell me that River is Amy and the Doctor’s daughter because of her one night stand!

because they showed the makeout scene the night before her wedding to Rory.

I just…I don’t know what to think. 

And then I try to explain, and for five whole minutes he insists that River is the Doctor’s child.

Like, no Dad, no.

And then I’m fangirling because I have sonic screwdriver earrings (ala Tenth Doctor), and fangirling over the special, and then Mum comes up to me and hugs me close like I’m crazy.

I love my family, but this is why I watch Who things alone.
